1. Booking and Payment

More than 60 Days Before Departure: Full refund minus a 10% administrative fee.
Between 30 and 60 Days Before Departure: 50% refund of the total tour cost.
Less than 30 Days Before Departure: No refund will be issued.
3. Non-Refundable Items
Train Tickets: Once purchased, train tickets to Machu Picchu are non-refundable and non-transferable. Any changes or cancellations must be handled directly with the train operator.
Machu Picchu Entrance Tickets: Tickets to Machu Picchu are non-refundable once issued. This policy is enforced by the official ticketing authorities.
4. Changes to Bookings
Changes: Changes to your booking, including tour dates and details, are subject to availability and may incur additional fees. Requests for changes must be made in writing via email to [Insert Contact Email Address].
Train Tickets and Machu Picchu Tickets: Modifications to train tickets or Machu Picchu entrance tickets are subject to the policies of the respective providers and may not be possible.
5. Tour Amendments
Service Changes: If a tour or part of a tour cannot be provided as described due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer alternatives or a partial refund for the affected services. Requests for compensation must be made within 24 hours of the tour completion.
6. Force Majeure
We are not liable for any delays, cancellations, or changes to services caused by force majeure events, such as natural disasters, political unrest, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will strive to provide alternative arrangements or partial refunds where possible.
7. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all travelers purchase travel insurance to cover potential cancellations, disruptions, or other unexpected events. Claims should be directed to your insurance provider.
8. Liability
Personal Responsibility: Travelers are responsible for their own safety and well-being during the tour. Ukumari Expeditions is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage incurred during the tour, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
Behavior: We reserve the right to refuse service or remove any participant from the tour for inappropriate behavior or actions that may endanger the safety or enjoyment of others.
9. Health and Safety
Travelers are responsible for ensuring they are in good health and meet any specific requirements for the tour. We recommend consulting a healthcare provider before traveling, especially for high-altitude tours.
