Early depart from Cusco city to Patabamba Village, from where you will start to trek through a gentle path with short up hills and long flats always with amazing views of the famous sacred valley of the Inkas and stoning snow-capped mountains. After a well-deserved lunch, the expedition continues until connect into an ancient a mystical ancient Inka path which leads you to the Leon Punku Ravine. Then walk through a very narrow corridor between some immense rock walls, where you will discover some Inkan remains, Inka bridges and sets of stairs (some of the best Inka Stairs anywhere). This canyon is absolutely magical and boasts geological formations surrounded by majestic rocks and boulders. After this beautiful experience, you will arrive and explore the incredible Huchuy Qosqo Inka site (3,500 m. – 11,550 ft.).
After a tasty breakfast, your lead guide will take you for a guided tour of the incredible archaeological complex of Huchuy Qosqo, which is perched strategically on the side of a mountain with imposing view of the valley and outstanding architecture that includes a large open ceremonial center, from which you could enjoy an amazing panoramic view of the Vilcanota River, and the snow-capped mountains. After such a wonderful experience the expeditions continue towards the village of Huaran located in the heart of the famous sacred valley of the Inkas. Upon arrival get welcome by the worm of your host family, get accommodation and enjoy of its beautiful gardens.
After breakfast start your day with a demonstration of Andean crops farming, a beautiful opportunity to learn and participate about such a traditional and ancestral activity of cultivating the giant Inka corn that still is practice yearly under concepts of all natural and organic. Afterwards you will take one hour car ride to the incredible town of Ollantaytambo, known as the last alive Inka town, where you can stroll through its narrow street alleys and with the help of your tour leader revive the greatest of the Inka empire and its majesty.
